How it works › Getting started
Reporting a problem
You report from your phone, standing next to the problem. On a computer you can look at the map and share cases, but not report.
1. Location first
Tap Report a problem. The app waits for your GPS to be accurate to 30 m or better; indoors or between tall buildings, step outside and wait a moment. You cannot type an address or move the pin: the report goes where the photo was taken.
2. The photo
Take the photo with the app's camera (not from your gallery). Show the problem itself, from close enough to see it and far enough to recognise the place. The photo must be sent within 10 minutes of taking it, and you must still be within 100 m of where you took it.
3. AI checks the photo
Straight away, faces, number plates and phone numbers are blurred, and the AI suggests what the problem is. Tap the photo to blur anything else; blurring cannot be undone. If the photo is too dark, blurry, too close or too far, the app says so and you can retake it.
4. What is it?
Pick what the AI saw, or Something else to choose from the list. Add up to four details (“What exactly?”). Other problem in a public place needs a short description.
5. Where exactly? (optional)
A short note — “under the bridge, park side” — up to 80 characters. No names, links, e-mail addresses or phone numbers; an AI check turns away notes about people, insults, politics or adverts. You can change the note for 24 hours and clear it any time.
6. Send
If someone already reported the same problem nearby, the app asks Is this the same problem? — Yes — me too joins that case instead of opening a second one.
Good to know
- Up to 3 reports a day per account and per phone.
- The report is on the map at once. A new account's photo is first looked at by a reviewer, as a rule within 12 hours.
- Not for emergencies. For gas, fire or injuries, call the emergency services; the app shows the numbers for the country you are in.
