What FixEcho does with your report
FixEcho is the app’s follow-up assistant. It takes over every case the moment it is sent, and follows it through until people on the spot confirm the fix.
- Finds who is responsible. The municipality, the utility, the roads authority. In a town that is new to us, FixEcho looks the service up on official websites and in public registers and checks it against independent sources — a person steps in only when they disagree (how a report reaches the right service). Then it learns from every answer.
- Writes to them. One clear e-mail per service each working day, with the photo and the place. One click to answer: ours, on it, fixed, not ours. The case says to whom and when it was sent.
- Sends reminders. Reminders after 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, then every month, until it answers — and after it answers, less often, until people confirm the fix. Where the law sets a deadline, FixEcho quotes it — word for word.
- Reads their replies. When a service answers by e-mail — “on it”, a date, “fixed”, “not ours” — FixEcho reads it and updates the case. Anything unclear goes to a person.
- Keeps you posted. You hear when it was sent, when they answered and when FixEcho had to remind them. Know the right service, or think it went to the wrong one? Say so on the case — FixEcho checks it against official sources.
FixEcho never reveals who reported, never threatens and takes no sides. Every e-mail to a service is signed by a person on our team.
