Who is Ana?

Ana, FixEcho’s coordinator (drawing)

Ana is FixEcho’s coordinator for Serbia, and for any country that does not have a coordinator of its own yet. She is not a real person but a character FixEcho created: the face of the work FixEcho does once you send a report.

Ana is FixEcho’s coordinator, not a real person. She writes with the help of AI; our team checks any reply that is unclear.

What Ana does

From the moment you send a report, Ana takes it from there:

  1. Finds who is responsible: the utility company, the municipality or the inspectorate — from their official pages
  2. Writes to the service: once a day, all its reports together, with the photo and the place
  3. Reminds them until it’s fixed: on day 3, 7, 14 and 30, then once a month
  4. Tells you when the service answers: “received”, “scheduled for…”, “fixed”

Ana never gives a service your name or your e-mail address — only the case, its public photo with faces and number plates blurred, and the place.

How Ana writes

Ana writes with the help of AI, and every e-mail she sends says so. The e-mails go out from FixEcho, and FixEcho is responsible for every one of them.

When a service answers clearly — “received”, a date, “fixed” — the answer is added to the case on its own, and you see it in the case’s history under the service’s name.

What a person on our team does

A person on our team checks every reply that is unclear and handles whatever the AI cannot read: a reply that is only an attachment, a reply we cannot confirm came from the service, and the answers to a case taken to a supervising body.

One coordinator per country

Each country has its own coordinator, who writes in its language. All of them are FixEcho characters.
